About This Course
This skill module is an introduction to procurement and contracting for the equipment, materials and services needed for development of shale projects. Procurement by owner organizations, including sourcing, logistics and materials management is covered. Additionally, participants are introduced the various types of contracts used for shale development. A contracting process and factors for successful contract placement are presented.

Target Audience
- Early career project managers, leads, engineers, and services personnel who are on field development project teams. This includes operations and facility reps, cost and schedule controllers, and buyers and logistics specialists. This course is also for the business, finance and land reps as well as other non-engineers who would benefit from an overview of oil and gas project and programs.
